Text Your Ex Back – Good And Bad Examples Of How I Feel Texts

There are many different kinds of text messages you can use to text your ex back after a breakup. These include things like:

Shot In The Dark Texts
Random Compliment Texts
Emotional Language And Positive Experience Texts
Small Ask Texts
Intimacy Booster Texts
Jealousy Texts
Appreciation Texts
What I Miss Texts
How I Feel Texts
Curiosity Texts
Sexual And Turn On Texts

And many more.

The best way to text your ex back is to use a combination of all of these. Each has a specific purpose. Each has a specific time in the relationship when it should be used.

Today I’d like to concentrate on what Michael Fiore refers to in his ebook, Text Your Ex Back, as “How I Feel” texts.

How I feel texts are exactly what they sound like. They are texts where you open your heart and tell your ex exactly how you feel about them.

How I feel texts should not be taken lightly. They are extremely easy to mess up and if you use them to focus on negative emotions or try to make your ex feel guilty, then you’re going to ruin any chance you have of winning them back.

These types of texts should also come later on in the recovery process. These aren’t the types of texts you want to send your ex immediately following a breakup. Instead, they should only be used after you’ve been back in touch with your ex and are building some rapport again. How I feel texts are a deeper level of communication your ex won’t be able to handle right from the get go.

Let’s take a look at a couple examples. You tell me which one is good and which one is bad in terms of giving you a shot to get your ex back.

Example 1: “You mean the absolute world to me. I don’t think I can live without you. I miss you so much. I’m going to die if I don’t get to see you again soon. Please let’s just end this and get back together. I love you more than life itself.”

Example 2: “It’s funny, but I still smile sometimes when I think about you. Remembering what it felt like to hold your hand on our long walks and cuddle up next to you on the couch during “movie night”. You always made me feel safe and I’m glad you were in my life. It makes me happy thinking about you.”

Hopefully it’s pretty clear that example 2 gives you the best shot of getting your ex back. Example 1, on the other hand, comes off as needy, desperate, and begging for a second chance which is how people commonly mess these types of texts up.

As you start to text your ex back and reach a point where “How I Feel” texts make sense, always remember to keep them positive, confident, and simple. Speak from your heart and don’t be needy and these can create a powerful connection with your ex.
